how to plant:
Soak Anemone bulbs before planting
Soak your anemone bulbs for a few hours in lukewarm water to reinvigorate them. Dig holes and plant your anemone bulbs 1-2 inches down. It doesn’t matter which way up you plant anemone bulbs, as, however they are positioned, they will naturally figure out which way is up.
Plant the bulbs where the soil drains well. If there are still puddles 5-6 hours after a hard rain, try to find another site. Alternatively, you can add organic material to the soil to raise the level 2-3 inches, improving the drainage. Peat moss, compost, ground bark or decomposed manure are all suitable and widely available. Slightly acidic soil, enriched with compost, is ideal for anemones.
Location for planting Anemone bulbs
Plant your anemone bulbs where they will receive as much sun as possible.
